Meet Ian, the passionate and dedicated founder of K1 Kickboxing Academy, where respect, support, teamwork, and family values form the core of our philosophy. With a robust 15-year background in martial arts training and a second-degree black belt under the FEKO Association, Ian brings extensive experience and a wealth of skill. 

For over a decade, Ian has been imparting life skills and martial arts techniques to students of all ages, fostering growth, confidence, and respect in every individual. Having spent five years honing sparring skills, Ian ensures a well-rounded and practical martial arts education that emphasises self-defense and personal development over fighting.

Our school is family-oriented and designed to be a supportive environment where children and adults alike can thrive. Ian loves to see his students develop into confident, well-rounded, and respectful individuals. This passion is reflected in the numerous testimonials from students who have achieved black belt status under Ian's guidance, both adults and children alike.

K1KA is a member of the International Combat Organisation (ICO), an internationally renowned organisation, who promote and sanction competition in multi-disciplines both nationally and internationally, amateur and professional.
